Choosing the right tint requires some consideration. There is no universally flattering range of hair tones for fair skin. The undertone of the skin makes a big difference between a tone that looks good on us or not, explainsRoberta Hernandez Garza(@robertahernandezg), president of theInternational Association of Image Consultants(AICI) in Mexico and an expert in the use of color.
“We are talking about warm skin when the undertone is peach or yellow. When tanning, a more saturated or bright tone remains. The warm ones are more favored by golden or copper tones in their hair. For example, a golden blonde, chocolate or copper brown”, says Roberta. “Cool skins, on the other hand, are more rosy. When they sunbathe, it is common for them to burn or for the tan finish not to be as intense. Ash tones work very well for cold ones”. As she rightly says, the goal is to create harmony and for the face to be the focal point.
According to the image professional, an easy way to see where our undertone leans is to stand in a place with natural light, without makeup, and try on silver (cold) or gold (warm) jewelry. We can also do the test with a white (cold) garment compared to a beige (warm) one and see which favors us.
It is also important to take into account the message you want to communicate. “Dark hair is seen as a characteristic of formality, security and confidence. Light hair is associated with delicacy, joviality and kindness. And we associate the reddish tones with dynamism, sensuality and creativity”, points out Roberta.
With this in mind, we have compiled for you a series of ideas to present to your colorist and succeed with your change oflook. Take note!
In general, light skin tones are favored by medium to light tones, if the goal is to create harmony. On the other hand, if you want to provoke a contrast and enhance the whiteness of the skin, it is better to bet on dark tones. Likewise, it is necessary to consider the undertone of the complexion; warm skin tones look good with warm shades, such as golden blonde, while cool skin types benefit from cool shades, such as ash blonde.
Hair tones for yellow white skin

Choosing the right hair color goes beyond simply deciding between blonde, brown, or red—within each of these categories is a wide range of warm and cool tones. Finding the right shade is especially important when trying to achieve a look that complements your complexion.
People with a warm skin undertone favor warm hair colors, meaning they use warm undertones like gold (.3), copper (.4), and red (.6) to create vibrant shades like honey blonde , amber blonde, golden brown, caramel brown or golden copper. Warm tones are great for adding warmth and color to the complexion.

People with a cool undertone are favored by cool hair colors, meaning they use cool undertones like ash/blue (.1), iridescent/violet (.2), and matte/green (.7) tones to create intense shades such as platinum blonde, beige blonde, ash brown, mocha or burgundy. The cool tones refresh the complexion, canceling the redness of the skin.
As you can see, you can choose almost any hair color, as long as you decide on the right shade. Next, we break down the most sought after.

Cabellorose gold

Halfway between gold and pink, thecabello rose goldIt's a trend we love. This blonde is characterized by having very subtle pink flashes that highlight the peach and golden tones of the skin.
The fact that it is a custom dye allows for many variations, depending on the base. To complement your light complexion and eyes, opt for an almost platinum finish if you're cool, or auburn if you're warm.
Cabello color pastel

Dying your hair in pastel tones is a trend that does not die. Pastels are a broad family of colors with a high lightness value and low to medium saturation, which is why they are associated with delicacy, coolness, calm, and softness. They will look great on you if you have very light skin and eyes.
Although pastels are often thought of as cool tones—because we think of lilac, pink, or blue—they can actually be created by adding white to any basic color on the color wheel.
If you are warm, you can opt, for example, for a melon or peach tone. If you are cold, you can even go one step further by lowering the intensity of the colors, so that they have an ashy veil, like powder.
Highlight colors for fair skin

Balayagefor white skin

Lasbalayage locksThey were created in France in the 1970s. Their name means "sweep" and they are characterized by the fact that the dye is applied with a brush and freehand, a few centimeters below the roots, lightening the locks very subtly until reaching the tips.
They favor all hair colors because you can mix different shades, integrating very well. For example, in blondes, several more golden and platinum tones are mixed to achieve that sweeping effect in the hair. In the chestnuts, touches of blonde are applied from the middle to the ends, focusing on the frontal locks. Lastly, thewomen with black hairthey will love abrown balayage.
locksbronde

HebrondeIt is neither blond nor brown, but a mixture of both. The tones that are achieved with this union are caramel, honey or sand, although depending on the base they can vary in intensities. The transitions between the colors are so delicate that they blend seamlessly into each other. In addition, different shades can be used in the same hair to achieve greater dimension and a very enriching and beautiful subtle contrast.
It flatters a natural blonde or brown hair, but can also be a bold change for anyone with darker hair. A nice side effect is that the color appears even more natural after the highlights start to fade slightly.
Babylights

Lastransparencies in the hair(in English, babylights), are subtle reflections, one or two tones lighter than the base, which achieve a natural lightening effect, like the one achieved after several sessions in the sun.
It is a low-maintenance technique that consists of distributing the color from root to tip, making very fine and subtle streaks throughout the hair. It is applied especially in blonde and brown hair.

It is a very dark brown, without being completely black. We have seen it with streaks a couple of tones lighter and also in its uniform version, but, in both, shine is the protagonist. Those characteristic reflections that dark chocolate acquires when it melts are the most important part of this hair color. It is ideal if your undertone is warm and your skin is not so fair, but tends towards medium tones.
bluish black tint

If your undertone is cool, experiment with abluish black tint. As its name suggests, it is a black coloration with blue undertones, which can sometimes be mistaken for navy blue or sapphire.
